Referral For Initial Bariatric Assessment
In order to see one of our specialist Surgeons for your initial assessment you will need to obtain a referral from your GP which is usually valid for 12 months.
It is very important that we work with your GP to keep your doctor informed and involved with your care during the surgical program.
Most GPs are quite happy to organise these referrals and indeed may have already suggested this as part of your weight management options.

In the rare case where you cannot find a GP supportive of this referral or if you are just coming for a band checkup, one of our bariatric assessors can see you without one as a first point of contact and make the necessary referral to our specialist bariatric surgeons.
